Calcium helps developing babies, and it may also protect your skeleton. Women may require daily supplements to meet these elevated nutritional needs. Avoid All Alcohol

No amount of alcohol is safe during any pregnancy stage. Alcohol crosses the placenta freely, and the baby cannot process it effectively. Because the brain develops constantly, exposure risks permanent, irreversible neurological damage. Alcohol-related disorders are entirely preventable through total, committed abstinence.
